Cork acquisition

Throughout our presence in the market, we have been able to set up a data bank showing the historic evolvement of the raw material quality. The systematic analysis of these data is of great help to the work carried out by a large team of technicians involved in the purchase of cork.

On site

When the harvest period is over, cork planks are transported to our production unit where they must remain for a period of six months before being processed.

Boiling

Once the raw cork planks are stored and dried, there is a fundamental phase which consists in their boiling. It is during said phase that cork has to be cleaned, purified and cleared of any contamination from TCA.
